5.0 out of 5 stars Understated 13 Nov 2012
Format:MP3 Download
With all the tat being pumped out by the Pungent Cowell fuelled juggernaut coupled with the incessant Chav/Urban pop scene the British charts are the worst they have been in my 40 year lifetime. Jakes album soars above all of these effortlessly and offers more than a break in the black clouds. Beautiful, soulful, poetic tunes that will be around long after One Direction are on litter patrol. An essential album that has arrived just when we needed it the most.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great album 12 Nov 2012
Format:MP3 Download|Amazon Verified Purchase
Loving the debut album from this talented guy! Gave it 4 as I wish it lasted longer, 14 songs and it's only 45 mins long :(

Not by any means a slant on Jake and probably clever marketing making you want more. He is a mixture of Johnny Cash, Cast with a country and western feel. I would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Different
Anyone with a leaning towards James or Oasis should be listening to this. Not your usual mainstream tripe, its raw and not overproduced.
