While one might easily be fooled into thinking this'd be a childish show, it is actually not the case. While it is, obviously, PG, it is still very entertaining, even for more mature and seasoned viewers. And surprisingly well-made, too. Good animation, plenty of humor, lovable characters (that actually get developed) and an interesting plot make up for a rare gem of American animation. And seeing Jackie Chan's animated counterpart fight exactly like the real one does is a joy to behold - not to mention this version does some more risqué stuff not even the real one would dare do (especially now).

This first season is the absolute best. The second season, which is also pretty good, can be acquired through Manufacture-on-Demand. The other three seasons are impossible to acquire in any physical medium (they're still available through iTunes - though not on all regions), but you'll be pretty fine with just the first two. 3rd and 4th seasons are okay, but the 5th is absolutely dismal.

I AM A BIG FAN OF JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES AND WHEN I SAW THIS DVD I THOUGHT; I HAVE TO GET IT. SUCH A GOOD SHOW. ALL THE EPISODES ARE 100% AMAZING; ESPECIALLY THE LAST ONE WHEN SHENDU COMES BACK TO LIFE. I GIVE THIS DVD 6 STARS OUT OF 5 BECAUSE IT IS SO DAMN BRILLIANT

This dvd is very good but not as good as 'The Entire Season 1'.Jackie finds a shield with the rooster talisman in it.His friend Captain Black explains about the talismans and how they must find them before the Dark Hand.Uncle explains about each having a different power.Jade accidently swallows the rooster talisman and can levitate things.Jackie and Jade meet Paco and El Toro.El Toro has super strenght because he has the ox talisman.

At first glance many people will be put off because this is, indeed an animated program. It is, in fact, as good as any movie. The voices are acted by experts, which add great atmosphere to the program. There are some amazing images, such as the dragon-like demon Shen-Du. It is as action packed as any Jackie Chan movie, and unlike the Poke'mon TV show, it is never repetetive, and the good guys are not always the victors.

Its good but the episodes have had the beginning stories before the title theme tune cut off, which some episodes might not matter however some it really shows because like it or not they are part of continuity which is a bit sad. Its very cheaply put together but its certainly worth doing over buying the other dvds that only have a few episodes. You do at least get the entire first season. But i do get the sense it was rather rushed and squeezed onto fewer discs to save money so they probably had to have like 10 mins of cuts so there edited more into a feature length. I feel if spent more time and spend across more discs would be better quality and yes would cost more but would have been worth it, only other way to get these episodes would be to make an american itunes account and buy them that way with us dollar iTunes cards. But this dvd aint bad but it could be better, i'm currently waited for the region 1 dvd of the entire season 2 to arrive.
