I must confess that I'm not sucha great fan of Jackie Chan's films, but one single episode of this cartoon put me totally sticked to it! Do not think that it isn't as cool as the films just because it doesn't have the genuine Jackie Chan to do his (amazing) stunts - This cartoon has every of Jackie's stunts, loads of comedy and, although it is a cartoon, it is not childish, which means it does not have scenes that make you want to close your eyes or leave the room till it's over. It has mistery, suspanse (the good guys do NOT always win), comedy, the script is simply perfect, the animation is great, especially when they are moving realy fast... resuming, this is a really great cartoon, which I strongly recommend and with 13 episodes, 20 minutes each (4 hours and 20 min) you've got a lotta animated Jackie to see.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not your average animated TV show..... 22 May 2002
At first glance many people will be put off because this is, indeed an animated program. It is, in fact, as good as any movie. The voices are acted by experts, which add great atmosphere to the program. There are some amazing images, such as the dragon-like demon Shen-Du. It is as action packed as any Jackie Chan movie, and unlike the Poke'mon TV show, it is never repetetive, and the good guys are not always the victors.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough episodes 29 Oct 2002
By A Customer
The Jackie Chan Cartoon is awesome, great stylised animation, good flow and action, and Jackie Chan is in it, need I say more! However, you are only getting three episodes, not really worth the price tag. If I was you I'd wait until they release the whole of the season in one box set.

3.0 out of 5 stars Its Good BUT the episodes have been shortened 9 Oct 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Its good but the episodes have had the beginning stories before the title theme tune cut off, which some episodes might not matter however some it really shows because like it or not they are part of continuity which is a bit sad. Its very cheaply put together but its certainly worth doing over buying the other dvds that only have a few episodes. You do at least get the entire first season. But i do get the sense it was rather rushed and squeezed onto fewer discs to save money so they probably had to have like 10 mins of cuts so there edited more into a feature length. I feel if spent more time and spend across more discs would be better quality and yes would cost more but would have been worth it, only other way to get these episodes would be to make an american itunes account and buy them that way with us dollar iTunes cards. But this dvd aint bad but it could be better, i'm currently waited for the region 1 dvd of the entire season 2 to arrive.
