5.0 out of 5 stars Eerie and Atmospheric! 6 July 2012

We follow Jack as he transcends worlds to find and rescue his Father while at the same time saving the world of Simento.

The book is gripping as well as atmospheric; the author is great with his descriptive language, something to really get the kids imagination working.

The plot actually reminded me of something from the Twilight Zone or Outer Limits. Very exciting stuff!

I enjoyed the book and I'll likely also check out the sequel.

I kind of thought this was going to be another Harry Potter clone...but to tell the truth it's an enjoyable little romp that kept me interested to the end. I'm looking forward to more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book to inspire kids imagination 31 May 2012
By Grace Wedell - Published on Amazon.com
This is an excellent book to get the imagination going for any kids. My grandson was fascinated with Jack's venture into a not so ordinary unknown world. It kept him occupied for a long time and after he was finished reading it I promised to read it with him again so we could talk about the magic of this book.
