Product Description

If someone, anyone, is reading this right now … then trust me, anything’s possible … listen, I don’t have much time … it’s almost midnight … and something hideous is coming for me. I’m Jack Tracy … and this is the one time I can talk to you … please, wherever you are on this messed up planet, find a way to enter my world … and watch my back … if you shout loud enough I might hear you … the place the creature is taking me to … it’s where evil began and … it’s RIGHT under your nose … all around you but in a parallel universe … you can only see it if you … did … did you hear that? … I think it’s above the house … lay still Jack! … and DON’T open your eyes …

Jack Tracy & The Priory of Chaos, product description:

Children all around the world have woken up to a total nightmare. Gangs of brutal teens are hanging out in normally quiet neighbourhoods. As if that wasn’t enough, all the adults have been placed under a hex and can’t see them. For 12-year-old Jack Tracy and his friends Henry and Samantha, the school run is now all about survival. Already at his wit’s end, Jack learns he’s been chosen to embark on a perilous mission to break this hex and restore order to the entire planet. This means allowing himself to be kidnapped in the dead of night and taken to the place where evil began … The Priory of Chaos. The Priory is a fortress school located within dark matter. It’s as old as time itself and overseen by the most feared being in the universe: The First Evil. At first, Jack is terrified and refuses to accept his mission. Then Samantha, his friend and champion of animal rights is taken to the Priory’s ancient classrooms. She returns a hate-filled bully who relishes animal cruelty. In order to restore Samantha’s true nature, and prevent mankind’s final descent into wickedness, Jack must embrace his destiny and be the first child to infiltrate The Priory of Chaos …

Chaos reigns supreme! 12 Aug 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This story is incredibly entertaining. My 10 year old son insisted I read it! Jack is so likable as the lead. His friend Henry is hilarious. And Samantha is like an animal championing version of Hermione Granger. There's a real sense of danger as the plot unfolds and these characters find themselves going on a mission to `the place where evil began'. The Priory of Chaos itself is like a darker version of Hogwarts. Instead of spells they teach wickedness. The Priory's motto being 'to corrupt is to ascend'. I enjoyed this more than any of the Harry Potters I've tried. It's funnier, darker and for me the characters are more memorable. But most impressive of all it has heart. I actually shed a tear at the end. Utterly brilliant for kids and great fun for those still young at heart (although it might be a bit scary for children under 10).

nice one jack! 10 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed this book it was well written through the eyes of a child. Jack is the hero in the book when he begins to see bully's attacking people in the street and trys to stop them. The adults cant see what is happening they see a group and kids being nice to old ladies, not pushing them down. Jack discovers that children are being taken to the Priory of Chaos while they sleep (their bodies stay in their beds) for 9 month which is one of our nights, and made evil.

Jack had to do something when the girl across the street, one of his best friends, becomes evil, in his dreams he travels to a wood just outside the Priory of Chaos and learns how to overcome the evil people that run the Priory. His other best friend has also been taken there. Wont spoil and story by too much, there is a second book for later this year which you can email the author who will be in touch when it is released. (nice touch)
