I've had this video in my collection for about two years now and have to RE-order a copy because it's been viewed so many times! It's true - it just keeps getting funnier. Many comics take everyday situations, attempting to imbue their observations with dry sarcasm, but Dee is the master of this genre. His demeanour screams p**s-elegance, but the 'dark side' of the foibles of his family, friends and neighbours is given a ribbing that honestly will have you in stitches. There are many 'lines' and 'faces' that people who've seen Dee in action are STILL trying to deliver at dinner parties - not to as good effect, I might add! The pace never flags, and his use of the stage at the Duke of York is nothing short of masterful. In essence, the fact that he 'knows' that his act is going to video leads to a few very well-timed lines (at the video audience's expense! ) Buy it, borrow it, steal it...and KEEP IT in your collection. This is British humour - and Jack Dee - at its very best.
