It's great.
It does what it says it will do and uses surprisingly less than one would think to do it.

Although marketed as a multi-functional oil, I bought it as a beard oil. It does a great job at keeping my (albeit short) beard soft. It would get 5 stars if it had a bit more scent.

Unicorn tears. 12 Dec. 2013

This stuff is like magic oil or something. I swear it must be made from unicorn tears or something. I use as a pre-shave oil on my face, and throw it in my hair after a shower, leaves my hair soft and softens my beard to chop it off. Great stuff.

Expensive, but worth it 28 Jan. 2014

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
OK, I usually spend as little as possible for moisturizer. Generic quarts for $5, slather it on. This is quite a bit more expensive, but. Wow. On the first application I used three pumps - the goal was to treat my elbows. With three pumps, I treated my elbows, knees, and arms. A little goes a LONG way. How much exactly is three pumps? Around a nickel sized puddle.

It absorbs fairly quickly and is not greasy feeling. It also has a pleasant lemon scent. Another plus is that it's totally clear and does not make a mess.

The results are also fantastic. My elbows (especially in Winter) are rough with little pieces of rough skin that can catch on cloth and bleed. After a couple of treatments over six hours, this rough skin was almost entirely cured. Same thing for the dry spots on my knees.

I'm really impressed with this moisturizer, especially on problem areas.

Absolutely worth it! 7 Oct. 2013
By Taylor - Published on Amazon.com
I bough this item at a department store. Having had problems with dry skin on my face, peeling and itching if I did not shave and try "something/anything" to get the peeling to stop, not to mention red blotching, I went to my doctor. She said, what I had was genetic and VERY HARD to treat! Whatever "it" was/is, it even went up into my sideburns and even skin peeling there, leaving sore red marks. So when I was in the rather upscale dept. store, I had a great assistant show me Jack Black products, and when he showed me this oil, I wondered would it really work? The answer, YES! it has made a HUGE difference! So in the morning after I shower I place it on my face, rub in, no greasy residue (make sure to rub it in good, only takes a decent size drop and apply).

Then in the evening after I shave I place it on before bed and rub it in again, has changed the issue greatly!! It makes my skin feel better too, that tightness after shaving is not a issue either. I sometimes apply a after shave cream first, if I shave early, then before bed, I place this on. You can't see it, feel it, just works for me! I highly recommend it to anyone. If you don't have the problem I am having that it MUST work, because whatever is going on with me, is nearly impossible to deal with, and if this can fix that, it can surely be perfect for all other guys!

I do recommend that you apply this when it is not directly after shaving, seems using the after shave cream is better, then later applying this. Yes I use it twice day, but I doubt most people would even need to! It is worth the money even if it seems like a rather small bottle it lasts a good while, because you don't need to apply a lot!

Hope this helps anyone debating if to use it or not. One more thing to add... It does NOT effect whatever cologne you use, has no smell!

Great for dry skin 27 Feb. 2014

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I am a female who ordered this product because I have extremely dry, painful skin in the winter months. My ankles, feet and elbows are the primary problem. This Jack Black Nourishing Oil does wonders for them! It also gives my legs a sexy, healthy glow.

First of all the scent is VERY light and doesn't really linger on your skin after applying. It is a slightly fruity scent that seems natural and from the oils within this product (olive, grape, Jojoba, Watermelon and Plum oils are among 10 natural oils in the product). It is light enough to where it should not be an issue for anyone and both sexes would be okay with using it.

The oil comes in a nice glass bottle with a well-gauged pump that allows you to have some control over how much you use at a time. This oil may be a little pricey, but you need a very small amount compared to what you use with other products (like lotions). A small amount of the Jack Black oil goes a long way.

When I apply the oil to my skin, my skin soaks it up and absorbs it quickly. This leaves my skin looking healthy and feeling extremely soft. It is not greasy at all. The only place where I don't seem to like the way the oil feels is on my palms. I normally try to wipe it off or wash my hands after applying.

I also like using this oil on my cuticles. I have always applied lotion to my nails when I use it, and so this seemed like a natural transition for me. It helps to strengthen the nails. This oil also makes them shinier and healthier looking.

I have not tried the oil with shaving (I use razors that have a moisture bar and it would be too slick). I did try it on the tips of my hair, but I don't really benefit from most oil based products in my hair because it already has a lot of moisture and can be oily.

Overall, this is a great product with many, many uses. I think it is worth it and would buy some more. I recommend Jack Black Epic Moisture Nourishing Oil.

Pre-Shave and Nightly Moisturizer 25 Nov. 2013
By Adam Allen - Published on Amazon.com
I use this product as a pre-shave oil and as a nightly moisturizer. Just follow the instructions and you will have a great pre-shave oil that lets the blade slide smoothly across the face. I find that this product does a great job of lubricating the face and adding moisture.

Before turning in for the night I give my face a good wash and rub in a couple of squirts of this stuff. Now my face is really soft and hydrated in the mornings.

The price is a little steep, but it should last a long time and it's well worth it to me.
