I am home based worker and spend about 60% of my time in teleconferences. I have tried (and returned) a few products supposed to improve the ease of conducting teleconferences over VOIP and Microsoft Lync. Some units were double the price of this unit but weren't great. I was starting to think that there was nothing that was going to meet my home office needs until I tried this speakerphone!
If you are looking for a USB speakerphone, you need look no further. Hands-down this is the best product by a very long way!

As it so happens, my company (7,000 staff, multinational) simultaneously ran a trial with the Jabra 410. They came to the same conclusion and the speakerphone is now available in all our conference rooms!
If you have a lot of VOIP or lync conference calls, this speakerphone is for you. It is worth ever penny.

This does not work on Linux out of the box. The device is detected, but audio playback does not work. However I have written a small kernel patch which fixes this: search for "alsa-devel Jabra Speak 410" to find the patch.
With the patched kernel and Skype I found the sound quality to be excellent, and all the features worked as advertised.
Edit: Jabra have released a firmware update that fixes the audio playback problem without needing any kernel update. You need at least firmware 1-3-0.

I spend a reasonable amount of time most days on voice-over-IP conference calls using my laptop. Before I bought this nifty device, that meant wearing a headset - and struggling to find a mute button when I wasn't talking. This device is just excellent: easy integration to my work voice-over-IP conferencing application; great speech quality without echo; easy mute and volume controls; clear speech pickup when sitting normally in my desk chair a couple of feet from the device; and best of all it's so easy to put into its case and take with me. Its not so cheap but good quality mean this nifty device is excellent value for money.
