Considering the price, those headphones are very good, don't forget you get an Ipod Bluetooth adapter with 'em ;)
They work well, they fit well, they don't seem to break easy (the arch is VERY flexyble).
Pros:
-being without wires when going out/wearing jacket/bag/whatever is PRICELESS
-few interruptions compared to other BT headphones (still, in dense areas there are signal drops, I believe no BT device will be unaffected)
-controls are ok
-the blue Led can be deactivated (no Alien-Look at night!)
-the battery seems to last long
-sound quality is ok (see notes)
-comes with Ipod BT adaptor
-comes with spare foam pads
-manual is easy to understand
-pairing is very easy
Cons:
-a bit bulky, but not that much
-sound quality can be better
-paired with a Laptop, the sound quality is really poor (due to poor BT drivers for Win XP)
-may switch on by mistake inside a bag
Sound quality:
I believe that is all about the BT bandwidth. That's why when paired to Win XP (you have to download some BT driver, but still the wireless controls for volume/track won't work) the sound quality is really poor.
When used with a mobile (S.E. W850i) or Ipod the sound is ok.
My reference (unfair!) are the S.E. standard wired earbuds and wired-massive-studio-reference AKG K141 and K271 (veeeeeery nice).
So, compared to those, the sound quality is not as good; obviously far away from the AKG, and even to the standard S.E.
Most of it, as I said, I believe is to the bandwidth of the BT system.
However, the sound is still good.
It IS artificial, lacking most of the very high range and the deep bass, but for the purpose you are going to use those headphones (listening to music while you're out!) I am happy.
I could go around with the AKG and look like a freak and being worried someone wants to steal those Hundred-fifty-or-something GBP, and need a bag only for them... oh, top-notch quality... but for home use! ;)
Or I could use the earbuds and getting tangled and trapped with wires, and a pain in the back when I've to take off my bag, and don't know where to leave them QUICK if am sneaking inside a shop (while the Jabra's will neatly stay around your neck).... so, see what's your lifestyle and take your decision! ;)
To make a long story short:
-you listen to pop/rock/electro music; you use them when you're out; you hate wires. Buy those.
-you are looking for the best audio quality, to use the equally home or out.... Buy something for the same price, but wired. I recommend Sennheiser for this price (AKG's are at least twice this price)
