Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Jabra has added a new Bluetooth headset which comes with a company-first display. There are a set of LED lights that provide a quick view of both the headset’s remaining battery life as well as whether the headset has successfully paired with a phone or any other device. The button has also been intelligently placed well away from the power and volume control buttons. The headset has a gel moulded plug that fits well and comfortably and it also supports any device that can be used as a hands-free profile. Weighing just eight grams, the BT2080 combines a sophisticated matt black finish with an attractive silver button to produce a contemporary and stylish headset. With Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, BT2080 users with phones that support this will enjoy simple, secure pairing without the need to enter a PIN code.

I've had a few bluetooth headsets in the past- mainly Jabras so have been happy with the brand. The last one was physically damaged so had to be replaced.

I looked long and hard for a new one though didn't want to part with silly money. Settled on the BT2080 and haven't been disappointed. Great call quality, range and battery life. I use this a lot everyday and switching off at night, it will last for 3-4 days. Amazingly light and comfortable although I do have to use the ear hook to keep it in place. This folds out of the way behind the unit when not in use. With a few practices, it can be hooked over your ear in one smooth movement. (I also wear glasses and it has not been a problem at all.)

Can easily be worn for long stints in the car in perfect comfort.

Recommended.

Waste of money 28 Jan 2011
I bought this headset going on the Jabra brand. Big mistake. Previously had an 02 generic headset which knocked spots of this. Do admit that sound quality is good but headset battery life is extremely limited - needs charging every day, even when it hasn't been used.

Cheap and effective 9 Jan 2012
Had one of these a couple of years ago. The gel ear piece ended up wearing down and it was cheaper to buy a new complete set than a replacement ear piece.

This new one appears to have a better quality gel - so no more issues there.

Connectivity and sound quality fine. Use this in my car frequently with no issues.
