Express Play Start - Turn on the system and load a disc into the DVD player. The first scene of the movie appears on screen with virtually no wait. With Express Play Start's unique algorithms to identify media and to optimize parameters, the long wait for the show to begin is over.
Rolling Pickup - JVC's laser pickup has been known for superior resistance to mistracking caused by the variable thickness of two-sided discs, serious scratches, disc wobbling, and non-concentricity. JVC developed a higher-performance pickup the Rolling Pickup that follows wandering tracks and plays warped discs with impeccable precision. Put simply, JVC DVD players will play the discs that other players simply can't handle.
High-resolution GUI (Graphical User Interface) - JVC DVD players come with high-resolution GUI, which features smooth images and letters. PC-like tool bars appear overlaid at the top of the TV screen, with options listed in drop-down menus for intuitive point and click operation. The JVC DVD receiver also provides overlaid displays of DVD player and receiver modes and settings on a hooked-up TV screen. I have just recently purchased this dvd and have found it to be very simple to use. It is excellent as a second dvd for that price. The picture quality is good and so easy to operate. For a multi region it is excellent and a JVC model for that price is even better still. I have no complaints with the picture quality or sound.
