This review is from: JVC RV-NB1 - Boombox - radio / CD / cassette (Electronics)
Im a dancer teacher and choreographer. after ages looking for a portable sound system that deliver sound that fills a studio with epic sound. I brought the JVC with the thought i would have been sending back. but the sound is outstanding, crank the subs control up to max set the sound to Beat. how they can handle that much power i dont no. I can take the JVC to any studio or school hall and be happy knowing it can handle being pushed to the max and not distort. the bass is unreal and looks great attracks alot of looks when walking along with it over your shoulder.

JVC RV-NB10B Boombox,

This review is from: JVC RV-NB1 - Boombox - radio / CD / cassette (Electronics)
This is undoubtedly one of the best boomboxes around at the moment bar the NB20B in my opinion
only because I prefer CD's and IPOD capabilities. This unit has 52 watts of power which is louder than anything else even the newer model boomblasters and handles the music I listen to like a dream. There is very little differences between the NB10 and NB20 models except I think the streaming capabilities on the NB10 which I never use but heard about recently. they are basically the same things but the NB20 has IPOD and more external sockets to plug things into it. I have owned around 15 of these units ranging from the RV-B55 which also also gourgeous miniature versions with only 24 watts power but very sexy. The RV-B555BU has the flashing lights and is quite pretty even though I thought it gimmicky at first, but looks really good. Then there is the JVC RV-MD5 (this is mains only but still 52 watts and also nice but not as nice "my opinion only" as the NB10 and NB20 models). It has almost brought tears of joy to many serious appreciative boombox lovers who I have sold my boomboxes to over the years as my wife forces me to sell them when I collect too many and clutter the house up. I still have 3 of each models in white silver and Blue in the MD5. Definately the best thing JVC ever did and I love them for it. I am watching to see if they actually modify the newer models out there and make them with better components and a little more power so I don't have to guard the ones I have like a centurion.
