When I found this on amazon I was overjoyed. It's exactly what I was after to go in my new kitchen. I use it to watch I player when I'm cooking and listen to the radio in the mornings. It looks stylish and it sounds great. If it worked perfectly I would be more than happy with the price as I have not seen anything else on the market that docks the I pad and I pod at the same time and sounds great. But as it is it's a bit of a let down.
1. It is a bit tricky to get my I pad to dock, you have to wiggle it about a bit as you cant really see what you're doing.
2. There is a piece of rubber supplied to place underneath the I pad to support it so that it's at the correct height....it's a bit naff for the amount I paid for my system to then have to put a bit of rubber on it! Also the rubber supplied is White and my dock is purple so it makes it look even more silly.
3. When you turn the device on it automatically starts to randomly play the music on the device which I was quite impressed with until I figured out that you cannot turn that feature off. It's v annoying when you just want to charge your iPod/pad.
4. Quite often I have to turn the power off at the wall and wait a few seconds and then turn it on again because it freezes.
It freezes when you press a few buttons one after the other and it sometimes freezes when you turn it on.
All in all it's a bit of a mixed bag. If it worked as it should it would be perfect.:(
