A fantastic car stereo, very few stereos at this price point come with DAB, aux, usb, bluetooth... The sound on this unit - after using it for a week is truly wonderful. I have 20 Watt speakers and this unit gives 50 W/channel and let me tell you; beyond volume level 30, it becomes too loud to bear. At very high volume there is distortion but this is expected with stock speakers of a seat Ibiza of 03.

DAB radio plays beautifully. I had the whole unit; DAB, ariel and bluetooth professionally installed at uplands (in car audio specialist chain in UK). Install and unit cost in all £320. This included adaptor and internal glass ariel.

Bluetooth feature is amazing. I highly recommend this optional add on. Once the mobile is paired. It detects my mobile as soon as I insert the key in ignition. It will stream music off any bluetooth compatible phone, the whole process requires no user input. All automated and very smooth. The interface and the tech behind the radio is rock solid and very user friendly. No screen delay and button response is razor sharp (except with bluetooth but this is uniform with all units...bluetooth = wireless delay). Offers a range of different colours too many to list. I prefer a vibrant blue to match my seat fabric covers...it also offers day and night colours however I couldn't quite work out how to activate it. I perhaps need more time with the manual.

Now the not so good things....

The unit is not ergonomically designed, the only commendable aspect is the volume turn knob is pretty well made. Spending £200 quid on the unit; I would expect switch gear to be more 'upmarket', it still gives a vibe of cheapness and economy plastics you get with entry level stereos.

Above average quality, I like the simple menues, iphone control, bluetooth is very easy and working first time.
However even with the JVC dab antenne, the dab reception is poor compared to my normal dab radio.
I installed it via normal iso connectors in my Peugeot 307, and it gave me some trouble with the instrument cluster in the cars. Lamps didnt switch of, the car computer froze and other weird stuff. So I needed to buy a special adaptor to get everything working.
However I like the unit and it is quite cheap, and plays well.

All inputs tested correctly, don't like the way it switches automatically from FM station to its DAB equivalent; but it switches to the digital input as soon as connected or CD loaded. Pro EQ is proper sound engineering, however in Audio setting the high-pass filter on cuts the bass to -6, not what you want (maybe need to set low-pass to subwoofer on at the same time so signal is split at 55Hz, no sub connected yet). Too easy to overdrive the bass, even with the amp gain set to low distortion creeps in; unlikely to be speakers rated @ 45W RMS x 4Ohm while amp is 20W RMS @ 4Ohhm. Loudness button unnecessary with Dynamic preset EQ doing the same thing. But good sound from my Sony 6x9s in the back of the wagon, some DAB stations especially BBC very rich and sharp, and more than loud enough even with the diesel engine at 3000rpm. Sadly neither bluetooth nor remote control working, so only 3 stars for now.
