With the JVC HR-V616 Nicam Video Recorder in Black, not only do you get improved picture and sound quality with its 4 video heads (rather than the nominal 2), but with Nicam stereo for recording and playback you get a far crisper, clearer sound.
It also comes with Videoplus the fast and easy way of setting up the video to record your favourite TV programmes. Simply type in the number next to the programme in the TV guide and the rest is done for you. Not only that, its NTSC playback facility allows video cassettes recorded in the NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) system, e.g. from the USA, to be played back via a compatible PAL TV. And so that you don't miss your favourite shows, Programme Delivery Control (PDC) adjusts the recording time to when the programme is actually broadcasted so if it is delayed you won't miss anything (depends on availability of broadcast signal).
Other features include a 1-Year/8-Event Programmable Timer, twin tape speeds, 99 channel memory, 16:9 format compatibility, Picture Control and dual SCART connectors, making the JVC HR-V616 Nicam Video Recorder in Black a superb and great-value VCR.
