The single wire makes this product less hastle of it tangling. The headset can be worn for about 4 hours then your ears get a bit of a sweaty feel(proberly the hair over my ears irritating or something), but for 17 odd pounds is a really good price for this product. Ive used them everyday for about half a year and no faults yet. The sound quality is nice and the bass doesnt overwhelm the sounds. This is headphones can be used in an ipod(which is still really loud on half volume), Its max volume is the same as the computers. The headsets quite strong and there is no weak points, you cannot fold it up or anything though so its definately more suitable for indoor use only. The sound quality is alot better than i expected and it is great for rock music! Also quick delivery, mine came in 2 days when it said 3-5 days. Thanks for reading. I would like to recommend this product, best things about it are that the durability is good and they are comfy to wear.
Also the image colour of the white part is a bit portraiting and it actually has silver sides with a transparent layer of plastic over it(high quality plastic and nice and smooth) nothing on this product feels tacky.

I was a little sceptical to start with but took the plunge and bought these headphones. Oh boy am I glad I did! These are without doubt the best sounding headphones that I have ever owned. The sound quality easily rivals that of headphones that are four times the price or more. I cannot recommend these highly enough to anyone thinking of buying them.

I use this for: Plugging into my guitar amp; watching TV without disturbing the rest of the family, listening to music (pop/rock/funk). The sound is detailed and balanced. It fits my (large) head perfectly; my kids wear it too without complaining.

These headphones are very nice for the price, i am no audio expert but as a music listener i think the audio quality is really good far better than ear phones. I really like the length of the cable, the comfort is good and I am able to wear them while playing games on the pc. So overall it is a good product and basically what you would expect for the price Eg. they work well and do the job.

These headphones are inexpensive so cannot compare with other more expensive ones.

They are comfortable, I can sit for hours with them but my head is not big.

Sound quality is good and loud, clear but may appear "flat", without bass, all frequencies seem to be on one level. To my opinion they sound like Sony MDR-XD200 which are around £22. That's what I wanted, a standard headphones so I can hear clear sound when editing.

JVC is less squeaky plastic than Sony and feel better, more robust.

They cover the whole ear, help isolate some noises but only quiet ones.

I think they are well worth the money.

Great sound for the price. These are the type that enclose the ear, just what I wanted, not the ones that have a flat foam surface that just sits on the ears. My kids have now discovered them and keep plugging them into their phones to listen to music. I tell them the compression used to squeeze music into a phone is so intense that the sound they get will will be way lower quality than these headphones will handle, but apparently it's cool to be seen wearing a pair of buckets on your ears while listening to music from a device so small that it gets lost in your trouser pocket.
Be assured that if you do have access to high-fidelity music, these headphones are great value. You need a machete to get them out of the packaging and while you're doing it the sharp shards of plastic may sever your artery. If you can get them out without mortal injury I'm sure you'll like them a lot. Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.

Fab quality. I compared them to existing Audio Technica ATH-M50 that we have (they are studio quality) but which are only used for music ipods, laptop, & TV listening. I can find no discernible difference in quality. Indeed the JVC HA RX500E sound a little sharper to my ears.
We paid around £80 for the ATH M50's in 2011. The JVC's cost me a tenner. Need I say more?
