Pros:
Look good
Microphone/pause play button is situated at the perfect height
Quality of the microphone is excellent
Very good value cheaper than the apple in-ear headphones and with all the same features as the volume control doesn't work on the iPhone 3G
Great at blocking out background noise can hear very little even without music playing.
Good sound quality
Easy to use - 1 click = pause/play or answer calls, 2 clicks = skip forwards, 3 clicks = skip backwards
Comes with 3 sets of earbuds (S/M/L)
Also comes with a really handy carrying case
Cons:
Took a couple days for my ears to get used to the headphones even the smallest buds were slightly too big for my ears but now they are really comfortable
No information on whether they were asymmetric or symmetric, they are symmetric headphones
There are not many in ear headphones compatible with the iPhone out there and these are by far the best value for money. They are £20 cheaper than the apple in-ear headphones and do the same job do i need to say anymore?

I bought these headphones to replace my old pair of Apple in ear which only lasted a month before going one-sided. The JVC were half price in Argos selling for £25 so decided to give them a try. First thing that struck me was that the heaphones were solid and well made.....there was also a carry case included. Sound-wise I'd say they are on the quiet side compared to my Apple in ear but only slightly so.....but the sound quality, depth and clarity of the high frequencies were far better. The mic is good but on occassion I have found the remote a little fiddly and the fact there's no volume takes a little getting used too. Overall I think these are great headphones for the price.....even at the full price of £49 I think they are a good buy. The fit might not be to everyone's taste but I found them great for blocking out outside noise and the in ear pads are good. To get good sound with these you have to take care to get them in your ear properly as the drivers are in the ear canal which makes for a better sound with less reflections.
