Too early to say if it will attract bees next year, but I have had success from a similar product. This one looks far better made, too. I would be surprised if you are disappointed, but buy now and get it outside! (It is autumn as of writing.) Point it North for overwintering queens and South for summer hives.

I have seen queen bumblebees looking for a home in early spring bypass this little hut without bothering to investigate at all. Professional gardeners tell me that wild bees will not use them and they are simply a waste of money. That has been my experience.

I bought this bee house for my husband as a birthday present and it is very solid and well made, looks nice in the garden but no bees have gone near it. We positioned it in a bee friendly area of the garden but so far nothing has happened. May reposition it in the spring and hope that some bees will move in. So, not very successful and that is why I have only given 3 stars but maybe it will be occupied next year.
