This new, sleek SMD design uses 20 Epistar LED chips housed in a lightweight casing ensuring the LEDs are kept cool to prolong the life of the bulb. These are great!!
So far I am swapping out all the GU10's and MR-16's with the LED equivalents and they are doing a great job!
The wattage reduction is nothing to scoff at.

I bought the day white to replace existing halogen bulbs of between 35w and 50w and I also had one existing LED bulb (a right mix up!) These bulbs are seriously brighter and very white in comparison. I suspect the warm white would have been a closer match to the existing lighting but I can certainly see what I'm doing now!!!
