I dropped my old mouse on its head and it died a little. When looking for a replacement I saw this noiseless one and thought, noiseless? Hm, now that you mention it that noise is kind of annoying, especially when someone else is doing it. I wondered if a noiseless mouse would make it hard to know when I'd clicked something -- how would I know if the thing I'm clicking isn't working or if I just didn't click it right? But I gave it a shot and it's great. It's very light which is also something I didn't realize was a complaint I had about the old one. It didn't seem heavy but this is definitely better. And there is just enough of a sound and feel when you click that you know you're clicking but it's barely audible. Now the old one seems like a big heavy noisy jerk of a mouse (sorry to speak ill of the semi-dead, RIP loudmouse).

I bought this mouse because I was driving myself bonkers with the constant clicking of my previous mouse, I had even looked on Google vids for how to fix a mouse myself but after destroying 3 old mice with no results I I decided to try this one.
Its not totally silent but the noise it gives is more of a soft spring than a click and the scroll wheel is almost silent so a great improvement on my old mouse.
I did see some reviews saying that the mouse was a little on the small side but I find it exactly right for me.
Overall I am extremely happy with this product and despite the fact that is is not the cheapest mouse you can buy the peace and quiet is well worth it.
I have already recommended it to friends.

I thought this was too good to be true.... and unfortunately it was. The mouse still makes a very audible click with the left button, although it's a 'softer' click and not so annoying - but the right mouse button is almost inaudible. If the left button was as quiet as the right, this would be the perfect 'silent' mouse. If you change the mouse settings and can get used to using the 'wrong' buttons on the mouse it is almost silent, but old habits die hard for me, I'm afraid. Wheel can be heard, but again, not as loud as on my previous mouse wheel. Feels comfortable in the hand, it's light and responsive and quick.
I bought this because my partner complains about my clicking while he is trying to listen to the TV or radio (I REFUSE to be banished to the bedroom) and I think if he turned the volume up a bit he wouldn't be able to hear it quite so much, although I wouldn't go so far as to say not at all.
Hope this doesn't sound too negative, as it is an improvement on my old mouse (a Microsoft), but not enough of an improvement to rate it as excellent or really recommend it as 'silent'.

Excellent Mouse!

The cord is a bit short. Packaging was so much nicer than most things...Did not require scissors to open it! Mouse isn't picked up even by my super sensitive microphone.
