Product Description

JOYO Analog delay pedal offers the recognizable sound of the slap-back pedals. The new technology took the psychedelic rock scene by storm and transformed the possibilities of rhythm, play 1 note, hear 2, 3, 4 or more follow-up repeats. The JF-33 is about as simple as they come for Delay pedals, but don't think of this as a disadvantage.

All you need to know is that the pedal is to be thought of as a piece of quantized gear and that since the controls are analog, you need to have some idea of how to recreate a sound once you've found it.

This second setting, Mix at or under half, Time at max fastest bounceback and the Repeat all the way up or close, it a very useful and common setting to use for lead guitar, as when the ping sound is returned at anything less than 50 ms, you are barely if at all, able to hear a distinct note. There are so many tones possible, but two major categories: Slap-back single echo and dotted eighth or sixteenth note usually repeats.

The Analog Delay from JOYO Audio an affordable device that inspires creativity and doesn't take too long to master, even provided that this is a new effect for you to experiment with. No board should be without a delay.

this is a good pedal with authentic analog sounds - unfortunatly the foot-switch on the one I recently purchased broke very quickly after very-very little use; I'm not heavy footed and the pedal was replaced quickly. The joyo range are good value and work well - I suggest the digital version though if all you want is a delay and are not seeking a retro sound; if you are the MXR is still the best if you can get one.

Great souding and well made delay pedal with a nice decay to the repeats. Much better than the very overated and dull sounding Boss pedals.

As with all of the JOYO pedals I've bought, this one does all you could hope for. The delays are nicely analogue in nature and sit well behind guitar without overpowering the main sound. Everything does what it should with a minimum of fuss. BUT... Buy a mains adaptor, as this pedal EATS batteries! I bought a new battery and it lasted for literally 10 minutes... I thought the pedal had packed up, but as soon as I plugged in a mains adaptor, everything was great again. Buy an adaptor, or buy shares in a battery company! Apart from this, it's a stunning pedal.
