Fantastic machine, once you get the hang of it you get it right every time and it makes lovely slushies. If it doesn't you're not following the instuctions properly. Had it since Christmas and been really enjoying it. You must follow the instructions to the letter, don't cut corners or do things in the wrong order. Set the machine turning, pour the water in, put half the ice in, then a handful of rocksalt(and it must be rocksalt)then fill it with more ice and another handful of salt all whilst machine is on. Mix slushie syrup with the recommended amount of water(normally 1 part syrup to 5 or 6 parts water)and pour that in. Leave it 10 to 15 mins n you'll have fab slushies. Once you get confident you can start adding vodka and all sorts aft the kids have gone up to bed. Really helpful and polite staff at JM Posner too.I would recommend this machine highly, wouldn't be without it, really fun and tasty drinks for kids and adults, will never have to buy a shop bought slushie again.Slushie Maker

This machine does actually make a slushy but only once ,one has emailed the supplier several times for proper usage directions. The directions in the box are poorly written . In fact .. a slushy made according to the direction will be an absolute waste of time .
However once one has received the correct directions for usage it does in fact make a comparable slushie to a store bought slushie .
The machine itself is of average quality ... plastic .... A nice toy to play around with .. kids will love it

Really enjoyed the slushie maker, tried a few flavours out and found that the more sugary the mix better slush it made, ok its not healthy but it is fun! would recommend this product.

nothing to make one drink,
i thought u would of got some think, to make your drink with, paying all that money, had to go and order, salt, drink, the lot, would of not got, if i knew that, crap really,

Badly designed
Bought for child and - as with other reviewers - found instructions poor. Established that lid snaps off when used...you can see a great you tube clip shows this happening. Read more
