The lens cap is perfectly well made, stays on and protects the lens. You will get sturdier and more attractive lens covers, but you'll have to pay for that...this is pretty decent at the price. I use the cameras professionally all the time and have had no problem with this.
The cap works perfectly. My only issue would be that the string is far too thin and snaps very easily. The hole it passes through is large enough to replace it with smething sensible.

After getting annoyed* with the lens cap that my Sigma lens (Sigma AF18-200mm) came with, I replaced it with this. It is much easier to put back on, and it has a hole for a strap (to attach it to the camera body). The only downside is that the supplied string is a single thread (not looped, which would make attaching it much easier) and very very thin.
*Was sometimes difficult to put back on (especially when using a lens hood) and (being used to using bridge cameras with attached lens hoods) I sometimes forgot to put it back on at all.

Lens Cap
Why bother paying 4-5 times as much on a labelled brand. This lens cap is a perfect fit and looks pretty durable.I would certainly recommend it.
