Jill Scott is most definitely one of the best artists around within music and consistent she is with her material too, delivering amazing album after amazing album. This album (being her debut) definitely showcased that she was an artist to watch out for, an album you could play from beginning to finish with ease and the knowledge that you were witnessing a star being born.
Having had this album for numerous years now, I still play it to this day and it remains one of the best albums that I have within my music collection, always in heavy rotation. It's always very hard to find a great album you can play without skipping through, but this has to be one of those albums you just cannot put down, an album which boasts amazing song after amazing song. So to me, it was well worth every penny that I spent on it back then and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates great music from an artist that certainly knows how to deliver a fantastic album.
Since this album was released, Jill has gone on to release numerous other amazing albums and remains one of the artists to watch out for within music whenever she is planning to release something new, you just know it will always be magic. A sign of a true star.

Q Who is Jill Scott. A - Jill Scott is one of the finest vocal talents in the world today.
This is one of a number of her albums that engage you from first to last. Musically and lyrically superb with a vocal performance of strength and vulnerability, range and subtlety from an artist who you feel is putting her all into every note and loving every minute of what she is doing.
If you haven't heard this, or any of her other recordings then do your life a favour and get some Jill Scott into it.
