If, like me you are looking for a battery charger for your vapour device then look no further, just check to make sure it charges your batteries and away you go, no more waiting around for the device supplied unit to charge 1 or 2 batteries, this does 4 at a time!

Update - well after only 6 months bays 1 and 3 refused to charge batteries. Take a search on the web and you will find this is a common fault on these units. Amazon were great though and gave me a full refund, thanks guys!

Update 2 - Well ordered a second unit (marketplace seller), and after only 3 weeks the charger has exactly the same problem, bays 1 and 3 will not fully charge any batteries. This too has been sent back for a full refund (not so easy as buying from Amazon and you have to pay the return postage!!), now looking for an alternative as there is a known problem with these failing to charge in bays 1 and 3.

Never found a more versatile or reliable battery charger. Not the best quality materials used on casing but charges unprotected imr batteries safely, along with li-ion, nimh and ni-cad batteries. Is simple and a joy to use. Just be careful with the stiff springs in the battery bays, they're stiff but 18 month manufacturers warranty is excellent!

Good product. Ok battery chargers aren't the most exciting devices that you will buy, however if you are a use a mod you will need one. It is a poor economy to buy a cheap charger. A cheap charger can ruin batteries or even cause fire/explosion. This one charges 4 batteries at a time, is relatively well made, charges batteries to full capacity and shuts off so batteries aren't over charged. Recommended for anyone using Li-ion 18650s etc. Can also charge NiMH AA AAA C size rechargeable batteries. The device senses battery type and charges them appropriately. Charge indicator on each of the 4 bays. The only criticism is that the compartment sliders are quite stiff. The best way to insert a battery is to push the slider down with one finger and then insert the battery. This isn't enough of an issue to downgrade to 4 stars though.

Works as advertised but it does seem to heat up AAA batteries a fair bit. I think the Delta peak sensing is a bit aggressive.

It is very important to note that smaller capacity batteries need to be charged in pairs and that bay 1 and 3 and bay 2 and 4 are the bays to use if charging just 2 batteries. If you just charge one smaller battery with a capacity of around 700mah, you risk damaging the battery. The output is 0.75 amps if just one battery charged and this can cook smaller cells.

So use bay 1 and 3 and put 2 smaller batteries in to throttle the output to around 0.375 amps.

A more intelligent charger would notice that the input was more than a cell could handle and would throttle on the fly. This does not.

Good for the money though.

The Nitecore Intellicharge i4 V2 is a great charger for Li-ion,, Ni-Mh and Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries, it can tell what type of battery you are charging and alter the current going to each battery accordingly.
It had no trouble charging 4 Li-ion batteries - 2 x 18650 and 2 x 14500 in slots 1 - 3 and 2 - 4 respectively. From new with a residual charge they took for the 14500's about 2½ hours and the 18650's about 4½ hours.
This charger isn't the cheapest but it's proven and if you read some of the horror stories about Lithium batteries literally exploding when being charged it's worth the cost for the peace of mind.

Don't be caught out by thinking cheap re-chargeable batteries and chargers are safe, they could bring the house down, really.

Now this IS a charger!! Clear battery charge state indicators, cut-off once batteries charged, can handle Lithium Ion, NimH AND NiCad batteries, autosensing which type has been inserted and able to handle a wide range of battery sizes.. But that's not what really impressed me.....

I've used a Trustfire WF-139 for about a year now with mainly AW IMR (Red), 18650, 18490, 18350 & 14500 batteries for my electronic cigarette MOD collection. After a full charge of a pair of 18490s on the Trustfire, out of interest, I popped them into the Nitecore Intellicharge i4 V2. Imagine my surprise when they displayed as half full and continued to charge both batteries for a further hour and a half. Using the batteries showed extended use before needing a recharge. I've promptly reconditioned all my batteries with this diamond of a charger. If you want to make best use of your batteries, this charger is your very best investment!!

This charger worked well for a couple of days and then played up to the point of not charging any of my brand new or older batteries, I think it's a lottery whether you will receive a good or bad unit so would reccommend spending a few more pounds on getting a better make.

Nice compact size. There are not many batteries this will not charge. The only issue I have that most of the time you cannot use the battery to extend the sprung terminal when fitting a battery into the unit. You have to extend the bottom terminal manually as the movement is not smooth, before inserting a battery.
