The phone is about what you'd expect: yesterday's tech but in a reasonably bomb proof package. Nothing fancy, just gets the job done if you want to make a few phone calls and send some texts.
The problems spring up (as with other reviews) when you want to receive texts, since the phone is incapable of displaying the names of the people texting you, instead displaying their entire number. I phoned JCB to try to sort this out. On the first call I made the man told me he would ring me back in a week since the phone needed a software update and the staff to do that were not in. I left it 2 weeks and no call. I rang back and was told they would send me an email detailing the returns process. I received no such email. I figured maybe they had heard my email address incorrectly so I called again. This time I got the email and sent the phone back. Today marks 4 weeks since JCB received the phone and I have not received it back. When I called up to check the status of the phone I was told that someone called "Melanie Taylor" had called to have the phone put back into stock. I made the support staff aware that I know of no one called Melanie Taylor and I am not Melanie Taylor. I was then told that a replacement would be sent out. I then called again today (9 days later) to check where this replacement was. Still not sent out.
To conclude, the phone is adequate as long as you don't want to know who text messages are from. The customer support offered is diabolical and should be avoided like the plague.
