Brilliant Speakers & Subwoofer!!!, 5 Sep 2007
I received my JBL today and within minutes had it plugged in and playing. Wow... the sound quality is great not to mention the brilliant subwoofer, very good overall package.
The little speakers are so cute and on one of the speaker you have volume buttons to control the output of the music.
I recently had the Harmon Kardon Soundstick 2 which was also a great piece, the JBL is equally as good if not better for its looks.
I didn't know this at the start, but the covers on the subwoofer and two speakers are changable, it comes with black covers and white covers as standard. The black covers are standard and already on, but simply take it off and place the white ones on if desired plus JBL have other covers available like pink, brown, red, etc... visit their website for more info.
If you are thinking about buying some speakers and subwoofer then look no further, at this low price you can't go wrong when you consider the Harmon Kardon Soundstick 2 is almost twice as much!!!
P.S. All the cables are very long (about 2-3 meters) so plenty of line to play with. Definately a plus point.

JBL Speakers 'hit the spot', 26 Dec 2007

So far, very happy with my JBL Spot speaker set-up.
They were bought to complement my new iMac so, aesthetically, they do the job perfectly. Easy as anything to set-up....5 mins max, including time to hide excess cabling. They do need their own mains power, but that's no problem - plug them into your PC/Mac headphone socket and you're away.
The JBLs are probably no substitute for a dedicated hi-fi for your lounge, but for playing iTunes, DVDs etc, they're perfect. Lovely rich sound, decent bass and no distortion on higher volumes. Worth a go!
