Okay, so it doesn't sound like your hi-fi at home. I bought it to take it to work with me - I'm an archaeologist and I plug my ipod into it when I'm on site to listen to my own music. It's about as good as a little radio, and lets face it - that's all you need on an archaeological site! Perfect for me, and it fits in my toolbox ora finds bag to protect it from the weather :o)

Usually cheaper speakers have a very high pitched tone but I find this is well balanced. Although it doesn't get very loud, but what do you expect? It uses 4 Aa batteries, compared to my last speakers that only used 2. This is the only bad thing about it really.. fast delivery, I recommend this product.

Bought this for a PC I'm building for one of my grandchildren. As she's only young, and the system is pink, this seemed an ideal way to get any sound from her system.
I was so impressed with the output, and no need for batteries as it runs from the USB port, that I will probably recommend this to anyone, child or not, as a very cheap but usable piece of kit. Unless you're an audiophile, there really is no reason to buy anything dearer, and it will hide behind the monitor unseen if needs be.
