Well where do you begin. It seems like these lads and a lady have managed to forage into the funk undergrowth, growing on the side of a zeppelin being piloted by John Butler and Ben Harper. Whilst dragging their balls, boobs and beards through old rock mags and dirty tins of country and tuna, they ended up at a cross roads not yet reached by any other bands. The weird thing is that at the cross roads, there is 4 signs, and each one says,'Your going the right way'.No matter what genre you want to try and categorise these funkrockinfolks into, they can do anyone of them, and bloody well too. The CD is stuck in my car player, sometimes when things go wrong, they can be a blessing in disguise, Thankyou oh mighty one,

I was lucky enough to capture one of The Tarka Groove Experiment's intimate live gigs as part of their UK tour. I soon realised that it won't be long before they're commanding a bigger stage they deserve or topping up the `feel good factor' at the next summer fest. This refreshing album has wide appeal, transcending funk, reggae, blues, rock and folk. Sure to be breezing the airwaves of a trendy café near you as you muse over a Sunday afternoon macchiato. Chill out and smile. Buy it now and you'll realise why.

It's rather difficult to categorise this band's sound: lounge, funk, rock, blues, soul. They're all in there. The album complements all types of weather and all moods. But when the sun is shining, the album gets you high (so to speak!)

The dynamics of the album are great. Two guitarists, one bassist, one violinist, one keyboardist, one drummer, two vocalists (perfect harmonies).
