When I first heard INTEOTW? on the album I was not a happy bunny... SFA doing soppy ballads?! Euarrrrgh!!! However, it grows in stature with every listen, and it is definately one of the best tracks on the album. When you first hear it, it appears to be a song about growing old, but when you see the accompanying video on the DVD version of the album (there is a new video for the DVD single) you realise that it has a deeper meaning. It is quite moving watching the huge mushroom clouds of the video, and listening to Gruff and co. harmonising over lines such as "when the taxi comes to take you away you start to worry...at least it's not the end of the world?" I think the song is trying to raise the point that when we say "the end of the world", we really mean "the end of humans", and we are the cause of our troubles...will we be hoisted by our own patard? Quite an appropriate song given the current climate of conflict. Worth buying for the main track alone, but also one of the bonus tracks is written and sung by guitarist Bunf, and an interesting prospect. Roman Road, the other bonus track is very good as well, and it can also be found on the Rings... DVD
