As one who feels that Otis was not surpassed by any other 60's soul/R'n'B singer ,this album came in some ways as a little disappointing ,as the content is not 100% Otis at his best. However, in other ways it is quite unique and is an album which should be in every Otis Redding fans' collection. Of the 22 track album content, maybe only half a dozen reach the standard expected of such a soul giant, nevertheless all are worth listening to and ,if any track is worthy of mention over any other, then the first take of "Dock of the Bay",the only song which made the No. 1 spot for him ,albeit after his death, must be it. Go and buy it today.
