The IT'S NOT FAIRY flaps round all night, sorting out what's wrong or right . But there's so many kids saying it's not fair - she's ranting and raving and tearing her hair. She's shouting, 'The very next kids I meet, I'm pretty sure I'm going to EAT!'
Billy and Mary say they don't believe in the It's Not Fairy - but that's before she turns up at their house! And it's not only the children she wants to bake into a fairy cake - Mum and Dad come in for their share of blame too. There's nothing for it - the whole family may have to change their ways and be nicer to each other!
This is a wonderful, hilarious fantasy starring a very feisty fairy on a mission, which will have the whole family laughing out loud, as well as encouraging discussion about fairness.

From the Inside Flap
Billy and Mary say they don't believe in the It's Not Fairy - but then she turns up at their house! And it's not just the children she wants to bake into a Fairy cake, Mum and Dad come in for their share of blame too. It's time for a family action plan. Can they convince the It's Not Fairy that they're all going to BE FAIR from now on…?

My 3 and 5 year olds love this book. A great read, great pictures and tackles the issue of whinging! Now when my kids whinge they remind each other that the It's Not Fairy will eat them with chips and peas!! Mmmmmmmm.
When I first read this book I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I have not come across a book that is so original & fun yet, which has some kind of life lesson to teach. My only concern is this... the story is about how the It's Not Fairy will eat you if you complain too much. Initially I was really looking forward to reading this book with my daughter (when she is a bit older as she's only 1 year old now!) but now that I've had time to reflect on it I don't think this book is appropriate for young children under 7 years old or so... I'd have to feel confident my children are well and truly over any monster type issues before they would be ready to read this book.
