Once again it takes the Irish to wittily comment on the foibles of the English so accurately.Anyone who can include Henry Blofield (Blowers) in a pop song is alright in my book. Anyone who can compose an album entirely about cricket is a genius! Neil Hanlon's handwriting is written all over the album and each track (bar nudging and nurdling) drives, and spins its way to bowl any maiden over (sorry). Given the fact that we are hammering the Aussies in the Ashes, this is a fitting tribute to an archetypical game depicting England on a warm summer's day on a swarth of green.....somewhere in England. IT is also a pretty good pop album as well. Don't toss up, take the first delivery and you will not be caught out.
