This Hack'in Christmas festive fun mini-album includes Fred's seasonal favourites 'A one squirrel open sleigh' and 'Christmas is creepy', although probably 'Christmas cash' most captures the true meaning of Christmas for the average teenage lad (it really is a great track & the online video version is worth a view as well). To get more of a flavour of FRED check out his videos online. We found 'It's Hackin' Christmas' was cheapest as a DRM free MP3 download from Amazon rather than iTunes or an NTSC CD - and I rate the humour in Fred's Christmas mini-album even higher than his 'Who's ready to party' CD, should you or your teenage kids love that.

"And it's really weird
It's like a fake beard
Somethin' doesn't seem right to me
Christmas is creepy"

Perhaps the only downside is that the amusing videos that go with these songs aren't included, although you can see & hear them for free on-line. FRED Figglehorn [with the R reversed], is a fictional lad who has a dysfunctional home life and "anger management issues". He was created by 19 year old US actor Lucas Cruikshank, who comes from Nabraska. In 2008, when he was aged 14, Lucas's YouTube 'Fred channel' was the first to have over one million subscribers. Fred's musical tracks have a pulsing pop/synthesiser backing of a high standard, and with Lucas's audio speeded up to a higher pitch [to mimic a 6 year old], FREDs voice verges on a modern Pinkie and Perkie or The Chipmunks. All the songs are Lucas originals not covers. So it's a hit with us and we'll give it 5(*). My teenage daughter already has, and likes, Lucas Cruikshank's 'Fred: Who's ready to party' CD and 'Fred the Movie' which was shown on Nickelodeon in 2010. Nickelodeon has created a second 'Fred' franchise movie for screening in late 2011 entitled "Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred".
