Product Description

The latest book by Greg Behrendt, author of the multi-million plus copy bestseller 'He's Just Not That Into You', is another hilarious, wry and wise take on relationships and how to move on when one goes sour. 'He's Just Not That Into You' is more than a book. It's a revolution. The phrase, coined by Behrendt for an episode of 'Sex and the City', has now entered the language: it features in ads, it's referred to in newspaper headlines and it has spawned spin-off spoof books and more. 'It's Called A Break-up Because It's Broken' promises to do this and more. It will help you get over anyone and move on. Behrendt's voice is unique -- combining tell-it-like-it-is advice with humour and the 'guy's eye view'. The book is filled with solid advice to help you let go of your ex -- for example: 'It's 3 am, the bottle of wine is empty, do you really want to make that call?' Each insightful chapter is complemented with a Q-and-A with Greg on what he's thinking, case studies, and games. Greg and Amiira tackle tough issues such as break-up sex, how not to lose your friends during a break-up, and 10 great places to cry. It's the ultimate read and reference for anyone who has ever been in a relationship.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best break up buddy you could have, 16 Jun 2006
By C. Stacey "Self healer!" (London, UK) - See all my reviews

Suffering from a broken heart...you know that feeling where is hurts and you don't think you can live without them. Well I felt exactly like that, didn't eat, didn't want to go etc...you'll know what I mean if you are reading this. Well I had to find something to help me out as my friends had kind words but I just couldn't seem to shake off the bad feelings. I found this book and it was the lifeline I needed. It is an eye opener which put things into a humorous perspective for me and some how pulled me out of the dungeons after a failed relationship. It is now my bible which I will treasure if ever I am in the same situation again. But having said that I have now become a 'Superfox' after reading the book so shouldn't be! I would seriously recommend this. My friends are already fighting over it!

5.0 out of 5 stars For smart girls who can't see the truth, 24 Nov 2005
By A Customer
Now, I'm a very smart girl indeed (I have quite impressive letters after my name) yet I let a guy mess me around for years. This book told me what my friends wouldn't. Your friends don't want to be harsh with you and destroy your probably fragile confidence. This book really helped me realise how I was being treated and that it just won't do anymore, that he told you all you needed to know by breaking up with you. This books says that we all do silly things post-breakup and it shows you how to salvage some scrap of self-confidence and self-esteem. It is also really funny and covers all those 'but he said that he...' and 'how could he...' It will stop your friends rolling their eyes, or at least wanting to, because you can't stop mentioning him. Put it this way, I saw my ex in a bar last night with another girl and conducted myself with grace. I didn't even have a little weep when I got home. That's got to be worth the price alone!

4.0 out of 5 stars a life saver for the broken hearted, 31 Jan 2006
If you loved "He's Just Not That Into" you will love this. Greg and his wife have compiled a hilarious companion to the modern-day break up (including awesome thoughts such as "your new boyfriend isn’t standing outside your ex-boyfriends apartment, so you shouldn’t be either"). You basically need this book if you are about to break up with someone; have recently broken up with someone or are still getting over someone. This book will have you laughing your way through what is deemed to be one of life's toughest obstacles. Way to go Greg!
