This show is an absolute gem. It revolves around three friends Mac, Charlie and Dennis, Dennis' sister Sweet Dee and their father Frank (Danny DeVito) and they own and work in an Irish pub called Paddy's in the city of Philadelphia. This is a show which not only crosses the line of political incorrectness, it sprints two miles past it. It has often been compared to Seinfeld and Arrested Development but goes where these shows dare not. with episodes in this series titled "Sweet Dee Dates a Retarted Person' and 'Dennis Looks Like a Registered Sex Offender' help illustrate what this show is about.

While many American comedies are sacchrine sweet, the characters in this show are self involved, conpassionless and will knife each other in the back as soon as they get the chance, much to great comedic affect. And the characters NEVER EVER learn a valuable lesson at the end of each show.

Special mention must also go to the recurrung characters the McPoyle twins. Truly the most reprehensible charaters to appear on television.

Not for the easily offended, but highly reccomended.
