More Accurate & More Versatile Than the Tarot - A Must Read! 6 Jan 2000

I have used the tarot for 7 years and over 5000 readings (on a 1-900 line)and I very strongly feel the detailed card layout shown in this book "It's All In the Cards" is the BEST! Playing cards are much more versatile in their meanings than the tarot and Chita St. Lawrence's book shows how to quickly tap into their accuracy. I have used this book for a year and both for myself and my clients it has proved to be VERY accurate. Plus, the book is a quick and easy read. I strongly recommend this book to do your readings with. For tarot I recommend you buy "Tarot in Ten Minutes" but for playing card readings this is THE book to buy. Again, I find the readings in this book to both more accurate and more versatile in describing situations than the tarot. Buy "It's All in the Cards" now!

An Amazingly Accurate System for Reading the Cards 24 April 2000

A fascinating and interesting book on the history of this particular system of card reading. Reading like a novel, filled with fascinating real life characters, Chita St. Lawrence publishes her system of reading the playing cards as handed down through several generations of women. I met her at a book signing and she really reads the cards just like she writes in her book. I have found the system to highly accurate, even when I did not think so. TIme and again, people would come back to me and say, "You know, that reading you did for me? It was so accurate!" I have been reading cards for over 20 years and have not found a system as accurate as this one. Definitely, the tarot does not come anywhere near the detail or accuracy in readings that this system does. At first the meanings seem so simple in their directness. But with experience, one finds that the individual meanings expand and flesh out. For those who like action-oriented or event-oriented readings, this is the card system. For those who want more "psychological" aspects, this system encompasses that, too. If you want to read the cards--yours and others--get this book--NOW!

I had purchased this booklet a few months back, and I'm glad I did. I cannot believe how amazingly accurate the readings are. The directions are very easy to follow, and the interpretations of the cards are very simple. I read tarot cards on a professional level, but I find that reading with playing cards, following Ms. St. Lawrence's instructions, are much more comprehensive. Unlike the tarot cards, where you can interpret the cards in many different ways (thereby confusing the seeker to high heaven), there is only one "cut & dry" way to interpret with playing cards -- and your readings "come to pass" within a 2- to 4-week period (on a personal level, this is what I've seen). If you enjoy reading as a means for self-discovery, or on a professional basis, this is the book for you! I highly recommend it!!
