5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best band of the Sixties. 22 Oct 2001
Format:Audio CD
The Small Faces are simply superb.
If you like bands like The Beatles, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane then this is a must have buy, especially if you don't posses any Small Faces material. The beat of guitar and drums is extremely catchy and along with Marriotts memorable vocals means this will very quickly become a well used cd. You could easily liken the style to that of The Beatles and you'll wonder why they got so little fame in comparison. Every track seems to manage to get you smiling or taping a foot. It manages to be rocky, laid back and melodic all in one. This is a truely class album and for under a tenner will be the best value album an nearly any collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album, underrated band... 14 Feb 2014
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I still find it difficult to comprehend that this album is approaching 50 years old and I still can't stop myself smiling when I listen to it. From innovative use of recording effects to catchy lyrics it is not surprising that the Small Faces had influence on the music that followed, even into 1990's Brit pop. Highlights have to be the title track and 'Lazy Sunday', but in actual fact, it's all good and well worth buying.

A must have for any Mod's Cd collection. Great selection of their well known hits and a few I had forgotten. Classics such as Lazy Sunday, Here come the nice, Itchycoo Park, Tin Soldier etc. What a treat!

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy used!! 3 Sep 2009
Format:Audio CD
This has been the first product purchased from alternative sellers in differing conditions. I can recommend it from this experience. The CD case and inserts are as new, and the CD plays perfectly.

The Small Faces CD needs no review, but my review on purchase method is a thumbs up!
