I have returned this book, because although the detail on it is really excellent, including the town maps, the paper inside is such poor quality that when you turn a page you feel it is going to rip, especially the punched holes. It is quite disconcerting if you are travelling to have book which everytime you turn the page, you have to lay it on a flat surface (not practiable in a car - and this is a Motoring Atlas), and then very gingerly turn the page, incase the holes turn or crease in such a way that the pages do not turn effectively. I did feel that if using pages would fall out, as the holes perished, or else they would crease and distort.
I like atlases as unlike satnavs, they open a world of possibilities, take you to places you had not expected to go, and also they are wonderful for making plans especially if you are going to new areas, and this would have been wonderful if the quality of the paper had just been just a little higher gm2 - it lower than photocopying paper and feels closer to old fashioned copier paper.
