THis book was ok but not quite as comprehensive as I first thought. I therefore have ordered and received another calligraphy book for more information as I am a fairly new starter to calligraphy. The lined pages were useful however to practice the letters. I don't think this book is ideal for calligraphy beginners.

This is a very concise yet detailed introduction to Calligraphy in the Italic alphabet. It is unusual in that it also shows how to make your lettering into 'improved handwriting'. A reason a lot of people get interested in Calligraphy. Great value also.
