I adore Michelle Reid's writing. Sometimes I'm quite shocked by her heroine's physical responses.. but isn't that what we want from her stories. In this, I especially loved Santino, the son so beloved by them both. They couldn't talk to each other .. they couldn't express their emotions. How typical, if you think of it. Except in bed ... now that was wonderful. Marietta could be the archetypal "woman scorned" and to a certain exent in this it was obvious .. but again it was a great story and more especially a very sensual romance. I recommend it to all M&B readers, except those who don't want to go through the "bedroom door". Cheers!

This stories sad and happy in places. I like it. The heroine and hero seperate after a disasterous marriage. They have a little son. Catherine and Vito have to get back together because of their son. Their is a jealous woman who sets out to ruin the couple's marriage.
When her cover is blown, she is forbidden to talk to the family again..
This story was emotional. I liked it because of the reality surrounding it. I disliked it because I think that the hero and heroine should have controlled themselves more.

I say that this book is pretty good from an emotional point of view. The hero is tough yet vulnerable. The heroine is feisty and independant. The sex sceans actually get a bit dull after a while as they don't really seem to confront and argue as in a normal good M&B story.
If you love strong latin males, then this story is for you.
