Review

Everyone can relate to F**K It. (Saturday Review The Times )

F**k it. I was practising the words. They rolled around my head. We need to say 'f**k it' when we're out of synch with the natural world, it helps us go with the flow. (Lucy Gillmore The Observer )

John combines Wayne Hemingway's style with Eddie Izzard's flights of surrealism. (The Guardian )

...my new spiritual guru.. (Kathy Brewis The Sunday Times Style Magazine )

Something making you unhappy? One man's F**k It therapy teaches us to let go. (Lisa Scott Metro )

Refreshing, funny and inspirational. Say F**k it and buy this book! (Ashley Lister Scarlet Magazine )

I believe Fuck It is a major contribution to the human race. (Barefoot Doctor )

The perfect book to help. (Clare Nasir Now Magazine )

A Western take on the Eastern idea of letting go... I've felt stress kicking in, and thought 'F**k It!'. There is real freedom in that. (The London Paper )

This year, dare to say F*** It... I did it. I relaxed, let go, told the truth, did what made me happy and accepted everyone... I don't feel like a martyr and I had real fun. (Suzy Greaves Red Magazine )

...a new form of therapy... (Kathy Brewis The Sunday Times Style Magazine )

Stressed, angry or upset? Then try F**k It therapy. (Kathy Brewis Sunday Times Style Magazine )

If you tend to think, 'I should' a lot, this will help. Saying 'fuck it' is supposed to help you stop worrying, so frees you up to realise what you do want to spend your life doing. (Red Magazine )

Product Description

Saying Fuck It is like massage for the mind - relaxing you, releasing tension, giving up on things that aren't working. Just starting to say Fuck It can transform your life. Saying Fuck It feels good - to stop struggling and finally do what you fancy; to ignore what everyone's telling you and go your own way. John C. Parkin argues that saying Fuck It is a spiritual act: That it is the perfect western expression of the eastern ideas of letting go, giving up and finding real freedom by realising that things don't matter so much (if at all). This is the Fuck It way.

This is a very good book for those of us who have too much of a conscience and who try far too hard to do it all right all the time.It makes you feel really good reading this book. The ideas are written very simply and its easy to see how to adapt the same attitude into your daily life. Its fun to read with humourus comments and a light-hearted approach is just what we need in life.Buy it if you feel the need to say the phrase or if you just have problems letting go-this book is all you need to guide yourself into a relaxed and stress free way of life.

I was a little sceptical of this book from the title and I nearly gave up in first couple of chapters but once I got into it I loved it and read it super quick. Life would be so much less stressful if we all said F-it and stopped worrying about EVERYTHING. Its defo one of those books I would read again and again for inspiration.

I brought this book whilst I was travelling across eastern Europe, and found it to be a valuable resource in the quest to help me 'find myself'.

John Parkin is an absolutely fantastic writer, and has a great sense of humour throughout the book. Talking about some funny anecdotes with his wife, and friends to make the book relevant on a number of different levels.
I enjoy having this in my bookcase because it always attracts attention, due to the nature of the title, but whilst at first can get some funny looks, on closer inspection, nearly all the people I've leant it to have said the same as me. Its informative, its fun, its realistic, and its helpful. Probably one of the funniest useful self-help books that I've come across.

Thanks Mr Parkin for making my travelling days a little more humorous!

One of the best self-help books I've read
If you only read one 'self-help' book it has to be this - practical, no mumbo-jumbo and funny! A must read - will be recommending it to my yoga students.
