Got this a couple of days ago - very pleased - very good for sofa-surfing etc.
This is my second device.
When I re-download some apps I purchased on a different device, I can't seem to authorise them and therefore I cannot use them! Even when logged in online with the correct account it doesn't want to authorise.
Having contact Google support, I have been told that this device is not supported by Google Play (although some apps have downloaded successfully).
Has anybody else had this problem? Is there any way of working around this so I can authorise these apps?
I've had no problem downloading free apps from G.Play but the 1 paid app I really wanted to use on the tablet cannot be authorised via GooglePlay. I contacted the app provider and they offered to refund since the G.Play authorisation process was out of their hands (and the ridiculous G.Play terms do not allow refunds after 15 mins). In the end, I found a copy on the web and downloaded it directly. It seems to work OK - we'll see if there's a problem upgrading when a new version comes out. If this happy state continues, I'll obviously let the developers keep their money.
As Y.O.D.A.Co states, Laucky Patcher will sort it out. The tablet is rooted so will work. I found the Lucky Patcher APK on the web and installed it. Apps that refused to verify license (STOID (atari ST emulator), Spirit and Final Freeway (that I had bought on my Android phone) all now work without problem. Another bonus I found with lucky patcher is that there is an option to remove ads from free apps.
