Brilliant, just had this book from the library, which I will now buy from Amazon. Good write up of all the area of the Island. Best book I have found so far. Interesting and descriptive, covers all areas from places to visit, local telephone numbers, recommended walks, where to find local birds and the red squirrel. First class

Very useful guide, covers the whole of the Isle of Wight. We found the child logo's particuarly helpful as we have a young family and these logo's advised whether the attration was suitable and how long their attention would be held!

I have just spent two weeks on the Isle of Wight and bought this new edition after just two days. It is one of the best guides for a visitor that I have read (and used) on any location. If you want to have an intelligent, informed companion to the Isle of Wight, with all its hidden features, you simply have to use this book. The system of symbols indicating children's tolerance thresholds for visitor attractions is a brilliant, accurate and really useful innovation. The historical aspects are also interesting and really informative.
