We were just going to rely on the UK road map, but this map shows the smaller roads and villages along with points of interest (including the route of the TT course). Easy to read and follow.

It's odd to review a map I know, but it's just worth saying that this one is ideal for anyone exploring the Isle of Man. It is a convenient scale - covering the whole island - and contains all the detail and information that you can need to go exploring. It's true to say that no place on the island is more than an hour from another but keep an eye on this map and you'll avoid missing all those intriguing places along the way.
Just as good if you're heading off on foot, or to keep you abreast of things when you explore on the railways of the island.

Brilliant informative map - so glad we took it to use whilst watching the Isle of Man TT in June 2011, helpfully displays the route, but would also be great for the usual holiday maker

Usual amount of OS detail and the whole island on one map which is convenient. The Mountain Circuit is identified as are some other tourist-y places.
