From Mull to Macintyre, the quality of Colin's work is extraordinarily high.
He's always crammed loads of sounds into his work, but it's great to hear him so stripped back and raw.
There's the usual mix of highly personal stuff, storytelling and fun. At no point is the music anything less than truthful and direct.
I hope he tours the south coast of England sometime soon cos It'd be great to catch up with him.
I'm gonna enjoy 'Island' and the Mull Historical Soc stuff - but I'll be looking forward to the next installment, too!
