5.0 out of 5 stars What British TV Needs to Broadcast 14 Aug 2009
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Measured, sober and sobering reportage on the consequences of pursuing the full remit of Quran'ic injunction, teaching and advocacy.

May all Muslims remain moderate-minded in this regard, but as the interviewees point out, such moderate-minded individuals must either remain ignorant of the dictates of the Quran (not understanding the decree of abrogation for example) or flagrantly reject the 'whole message' of Mohammed's revelations. It should be unsurprising, therefore, to face the indignation of clerics, adherents and acolytes in European nation-states especially, who can say - with utter justification - 'It is Written!', claim divine approbation for violent acts, and dismiss such "moderates" as mere 'puppets of the Western political theatre'. Such "moderates" need all the solidarity they can get from 'westerners' but I can't help wondering how many of them would stay in such a `religion', once they are faced with the inescapable belligerence, antagonism and expediency of a zeitgeist that claims peace only in the event of global dominion.

There are helpful discussions on the confusion caused by the Western attitudes' preoccupation towards `religious devotion' as a private, personal affair. Instead, the contributors to this film urge understanding Islam's raison d'être as a counter-worldview abrogating our respective national and constitutional frameworks in lieu of a political, social, economic and finally spiritual mandate committed to a single monolithic message, society, constitution, outlook.

5.0 out of 5 stars Calm truth about greatest threat of free west. 7 Sep 2007
Format:DVD
Splendid! Finally we got good quality DVD telling how things are functioning in Islam. How easy it have been to misunderstand facts and absorb feeble excuses about "religion of peace". This movie is a good package of startling facts from outside and in. I like best the secrets ex-jihadist uncovers from his own experience. These things are really something that west needs to know!

5.0 out of 5 stars MUST SEE 23 July 2007
Format:DVD
Perhaps the most important movie of our time. Exposes the true, violent nature of Islam, its holy book, and its prophet. Sober and compelling, the movie cuts through the politically correct language and obfuscation that have so clouded the issue of Islam. Western leaders of all stripes have been completely taken in by the "religion of peace" mantra that turns the truth on its head. Far from a mere personal faith, Islam is an aggressive political and military doctrine that has killed more people through history than any other political or religious system. The documentary makes clear that Western civilization is in a struggle for its life, which so far Western leaders have been totally unwilling to recognize. Refreshingly devoid of the hysterical tone of other videos on this subject, it is a clarion call to the West to awaken to the truth before it's too late. Absolutely must see.

4.0 out of 5 stars You wont see this on the BBC 23 Nov 2008
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
The production and editing on this DVD are awful, but the content and what the commentaters are saying makes up for it. This disc is chalk full of historical facts that the main stream media don't want you to know, and it also highlights how history has been distorted by the Government and media to hide the threat we face.

2.0 out of 5 stars Massive disappointment 20 July 2007
By B. D. Wilson VINE™ VOICE
Format:DVD
Upon seeing that I have only given this film two stars, you might think that I am one of those PC types who believes this documentary about Islam is full of hatred, takes the Qur'an out of context, and so on. In fact, the opposite is true. The information presented in this film is 100% accurate; I agree with all of it and I think the West really does need to know this stuff.

However, I would not encourage anyone I know to watch it, and this is why: it is tremendously boring. This documentary could not have been any less inspiring if it tried. The editing and pacing are chronic. Rather than flit about between details in a fast-paced and interesting way, the whole documentary is esssentially just a series of interviews with the various experts, interlinked occasionally with overlong archived news clips. The edits between each interview clip, rather than straight cuts, always slowly fade to black and then slowly fade back in again. It all moves at a complete snail's pace.

It's almost as if they TRIED to make it boring. The film offers nothing to hold the interest; just people talking at you for an hour in their most boring voices. Bat Ye'or, as brilliant a historian as she is, is intolerable. Her voices is witchlike and her English is so broken that all of her scenes have subtitles just so we can make it out...if we haven't lost the will to live already. Similarly, passages from the Qur'an and hadiths are read out by a man with probably the most atonal voice I have ever heard. It's just diabolical.

Once again, don't get me wrong. I have awarded the documentary two stars because its message is so important.

Not only did mans journey into space peak between 1969 and 1972 during which the 12 (only what ? 8 left alive) men who walked on the moon did their stuff : music also peaked during those years. The rest is just winding down and fiddling about. 15 3 hours ago
