An excellent explanation of a difficult subject. It has made an Old Testament book make more sense in this modern age.

Best study manual on Isaiah I've ever read 12 July 2004
By Big Daddy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is the best study manual on the words of Isaiah I've ever come across, by far. Dr. Ridges makes the study of this book so much better by opening your understand of the underlying meanings of Isaiah's writings, the symbolism used, and how it all applies to our day. I couldn't recommend this book any stronger.
I also recommend anything written by David Ridges. This book is just one part of his gospel study series - they are all great. To find them, go to Cedarfort.com

Isaiah Made Simple for Simple Minds 4 May 2009

I am enjoying this book as it is making Isaiah understandable and I don't fear it anymore. The author goes line by line explaining what Isaiah means plus if you use the bible's footnotes, Isaiah rocks.

Indispensable Book! 20 July 2014
By Snottzoid - Published on Amazon.com

This book is indispensable for giving you explanations of what Isaiah is talking about. Additionally, if you ever want to dig in even deeper, the author has explains at the beginning where he got his notes.

His notes cover the entirety of Isaiah in the Old Testament (King James Version) and the portions of Isaiah that are quoted throughout the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi, Mosiah [Abinadi], 3 Nephi).

I thought the book was very helpful. It made difficult passages manageable. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
Not what I was hoping for. 25 Aug. 2014

This was disappointing. I really liked Volume 1 in this series. It was packed full of insights and information but this one didn't have much more than the meaning of a word here or there. Not at all what I was hoping for with Isaiah, the book that I could really use some help with!
