I have not use this as much as volume 1, but I used it recently when I was preaching on Isaiah 53:10-12 this Easter Sunday and found that everything I have said about volume 1 applied to this. A good translation of the text, very good exegesis (basically what the passage is about) and a good narrative flow which avoids too much heavyweight theological jargon, which is often a fault of such commentaries . As such this is to be highly recommended. So if you're looking for a good academic commentary on Isaiah which is easy to understand, then this is definitely for you as it ticks all the right boxes as it is good for private study and preparation for talks of all kinds.
