Isabel Losada really does live on the Battersea Park Road in London. She was the result of an affair between her English mother and a good looking Spaniard in Paris (thus the interesting second name) and was then raised by her mother and grandmother in Brighton and London. Isabel has had several careers - an actress, then in TV production and, for the last ten years as a writer. She has one daughter who she raised as a single parent. She does not own a ginger cat.
Isabel's best-selling books are published in 16 languages. The are not fiction... but true adventures which explore, by various routes, the themes of happiness and living life to the full. They are considered inspirational and informative but above all - funny. Readers tend to enjoy these books and then, inspired by the lunacy - do crazy things too.
As an author she is widely accessible to her readers both on www.isabellosada.com and on her fan page on facebook where she answers all questions.
Isabel's book about Tibet - confusingly, has had two titles.. both 'A Beginner's Guide to Changing the World and 'For Tibet, With Love.' On April 22nd 2010 Bloomsbury are printing a third edition with a new preface and re-releasing the book with the original title - 'For Tibet, With Love.' The seoond title remains as a subtitle.
Her new book 'The Battersea Park Road to Paradise' will be published in March 2011.
